As of January 29, 2011, it operated 1,086 stores in the United States and Canada under the American Eagle Outfitters, aerie and 77kids brands. During the fiscal year ended January 29, 2011 (fiscal 2010), it opened 34 new stores, consisting of 14 AE stores, 11 aerie stores and nine 77kids stores.
